TEXTORITY CONNECTED ACCOUNT AND PAYMENT PROCESSOR NOTICE
Last Updated: October 1, 2026
This Connected Account and Payment Processor Notice applies when Textority Inc. (“Textority”) enables a User, Creator, or other eligible participant to connect, create, enroll, authorize, or use an account, payout destination, or payment-processing relationship with a third-party Payment Provider through or in connection with the Textority Services. It supplements the Textority Terms of Service, Payment Terms, Creator Terms, Creator Payout Terms, Marketplace and Seller Disclosure, Privacy Policy, and any transaction-specific terms that apply to the relevant payment flow.
1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
1.1 Purpose. This Notice explains the relationship among Textority, a User or Creator, and a third-party Payment Provider when Textority supports a connected account, provider onboarding, payment-processing connection, payout connection, or similar provider-linked payment feature.
1.2 Feature-specific application. This Notice applies only to a payment or payout feature that Textority actually enables and presents as involving a Payment Provider or connected account. Mentioning a provider, account type, payment method, country, or capability does not mean that it is available to every User, Creator, transaction, or jurisdiction.
1.3 Provider-specific terms control provider services. The Payment Provider may require a separate agreement, terms of service, merchant agreement, connected-account agreement, privacy notice, authorization, verification flow, or other provider documentation. Those provider terms govern the provider services within their subject matter.
1.4 No universal payment classification. This Notice does not designate Textority as merchant of record, payment facilitator, money transmitter, bank, escrow provider, marketplace operator, settlement merchant, agent, reseller, or contracting seller for every transaction. The actual provider configuration, transaction terms, applicable law, and external payment rules determine those roles where relevant.
2. DEFINITIONS
Capitalized terms not defined in this Notice have the meanings given in the Textority Terms of Service and applicable Additional Terms.
“Connected Account” means a Payment Provider account, sub-account, merchant account, payout account, recipient account, or comparable provider-linked account that is created, enrolled, connected, or used in connection with Textority. The provider may use a different product name or legal classification.
“Payment Provider” means a third party that provides payment processing, acquiring, payment-method access, onboarding, identity or business verification, fraud screening, tokenization, settlement, refunds, disputes, payouts, or related payment or financial-technology services.
“Provider Terms” means the agreements, policies, notices, rules, authorizations, and other terms that a Payment Provider validly presents or makes applicable to a User, Creator, Connected Account, transaction, or payout flow.
3. PAYMENT PROVIDER IDENTIFICATION
3.1 Provider shown in the flow. The Payment Provider applicable to a connected-account or payment flow should be identified in the onboarding, settings, checkout, payout, or other relevant product interface, or in the Provider Terms presented for acceptance.
3.2 Supported providers may change. Textority may support different Payment Providers by country, currency, payment method, transaction type, account type, business category, risk profile, or product configuration. Providers may include Stripe, Wompi, or other providers when and where Textority actually enables them.
3.3 No provider endorsement or guarantee. Making a Payment Provider available through the Services does not guarantee that the provider will approve a User or Creator, support every business model or country, maintain a particular feature, or continue providing services to a Connected Account.
4. ACCEPTANCE OF PROVIDER TERMS
4.1 Separate provider relationship. Where a Payment Provider requires you to enter into Provider Terms directly with that provider, you must review and accept those Provider Terms before using the covered provider service. Textority is not a party to a direct agreement between you and the Payment Provider unless the applicable agreement expressly states otherwise.
4.2 Affirmative action. Clicking or selecting a button such as “Connect,” “Continue,” “Create Account,” “Enable Payments,” “Accept,” or another clear action in a provider onboarding flow may constitute your instruction to connect the account and, where the flow so states, your acceptance of the applicable Provider Terms.
4.3 No substitution for required acceptance. Acceptance of Textority terms alone does not substitute for a separate Payment Provider agreement or authorization when the Payment Provider or applicable law requires separate acceptance.
4.4 Authority. If you connect or create a provider account for a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to provide the requested information, accept the applicable Provider Terms, and authorize the connection on behalf of that entity.
5. ACCOUNT CREATION, CONNECTION, AND ACCESS
5.1 New or existing accounts. Depending on the provider configuration, Textority may help you create a new provider account, enroll an existing provider account, connect a payout destination, or establish another supported provider relationship.
5.2 Provider-managed and platform-assisted experiences. The Payment Provider may manage some onboarding, dashboard, verification, support, settlement, or account functions directly, while Textority may provide other portions of the experience. The division of responsibility depends on the actual provider configuration.
5.3 Authorized platform activity. Where the Provider Terms and your Textority relationship permit it, you authorize Textority to submit instructions, transaction information, account updates, refund requests, payout instructions, dispute information, configuration changes, or other supported activity to the Payment Provider on your behalf or in connection with your use of the Services.
5.4 Account credentials. You must protect credentials and access methods for any Connected Account or payout destination. Do not share provider credentials except through an authorized access mechanism. Textority may rely on provider authentication or authorization signals reasonably presented as valid.
6. ONBOARDING AND VERIFICATION
6.1 Required information. Textority or the Payment Provider may request information reasonably necessary to establish or maintain the payment relationship, including legal name, business information, address, contact information, ownership or control information, government identification, tax information, bank or payout information, business category, website or offering information, or other verification data.
6.2 Accurate and current information. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information and promptly update material changes. Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or unauthorized information may result in delayed onboarding, payment restrictions, payout Holds, suspension, termination, or other action permitted by the applicable terms or law.
6.3 Re-verification. A Payment Provider or Textority may require updated or additional verification after changes to ownership, control, legal name, entity type, address, country, payout destination, tax status, business category, transaction activity, risk information, provider rules, or applicable law.
6.4 Provider decision. A Payment Provider may independently approve, reject, restrict, suspend, or terminate a provider account or feature under its rules. Textority does not guarantee a provider decision and may be unable to override it.
7. DATA SHARING AND PRIVACY
7.1 Information sent to a Payment Provider. To establish, operate, support, secure, or administer an enabled payment or payout feature, Textority may transmit information to the applicable Payment Provider, including account, identity, business, representative, transaction, customer, payout, dispute, fraud, device, or other information reasonably necessary for the provider service.
7.2 Information received from a Payment Provider. Textority may receive information from the Payment Provider concerning onboarding status, verification, account capabilities, transactions, payment status, disputes, refunds, fraud or risk signals, balances, payouts, restrictions, or other provider activity reasonably necessary to operate the Services, support Users, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
7.3 Independent provider processing. A Payment Provider may process information under its own privacy notice and legal responsibilities where it independently determines the purposes or means of processing. Textority does not use this Notice to describe independent provider processing as if it were solely Textority processing.
7.4 Textority privacy terms. Textority processes personal information as described in the Textority Privacy Policy, applicable regional notices, and other privacy terms. Where law requires a separate authorization or consent for a specific processing activity, acceptance of this Notice alone does not replace that separate requirement.
7.5 Data minimization. Textority should not require a User to re-enter sensitive provider information that the Payment Provider can collect directly unless Textority reasonably needs that information for a supported operational, legal, risk, or compliance purpose.
8. PAYMENT AND TRANSACTION ROLES
8.1 Roles depend on the transaction. A Connected Account or provider relationship does not by itself determine who is the Contracting Seller, Supplier, Merchant of Record, payment recipient, settlement merchant, marketplace facilitator, or other commercial or regulatory participant.
8.2 Creator responsibility. Unless the applicable Transaction Terms state otherwise, the Creator remains responsible for the Creator Offering, including its description, legality, fulfillment, delivery, performance, support, and Creator-specific obligations under the Textority terms.
8.3 Payment Provider role. A Payment Provider processes or supports payment-related activity according to its own services and configuration. A Payment Provider does not become the Supplier or Contracting Seller merely because it processes a payment or payout.
8.4 Textority role. Textority may provide technology, checkout interfaces, records, routing, support, payment integrations, payout administration, dispute support, or related functions. Those functions do not by themselves establish a broader payment, banking, seller, agency, or regulatory role than the actual structure and law provide.
9. FEES, DEDUCTIONS, BALANCES, AND RESERVES
9.1 Provider fees. A Payment Provider may charge fees under its Provider Terms. Textority may also charge disclosed Textority fees under the Payment Terms or other applicable pricing terms.
9.2 Deductions. Where the payment configuration and applicable terms permit, the Payment Provider may deduct provider fees, Textority fees, refunds, reversals, disputes, reserves, taxes, withholding, negative balances, or other properly authorized amounts from funds processed or payable through the provider relationship.
9.3 No fixed economics created here. This Notice does not establish a particular processing rate, payout schedule, reserve percentage, settlement period, currency-conversion rate, minimum balance, or fee allocation. The applicable pricing disclosure, Payment Terms, Creator Payout Terms, Provider Terms, and transaction configuration control those matters.
9.4 No deposit account representation. A balance displayed in Textority or by a Payment Provider is not represented by this Notice as a bank deposit, escrow balance, trust account, insured account, or stored-value account. The applicable legal and provider framework determines the nature of any balance.
10. SETTLEMENT AND PAYOUTS
10.1 Provider-dependent timing. Settlement and payout timing may depend on the Payment Provider, transaction type, payment method, banking system, country, currency, verification status, risk review, reserves, disputes, refunds, provider rules, and other conditions.
10.2 Initiation is not receipt. A payout shown as initiated, sent, or processing does not mean the recipient bank or financial institution has credited the funds.
10.3 Payout destination. You are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate payout-destination information and for ensuring that you are authorized to use the destination. Textority or the Payment Provider may require verification of ownership or authorization.
10.4 Failed or returned payouts. A payout may fail, be rejected, be returned, or require correction. The Creator Payout Terms, Payment Terms, Provider Terms, and applicable provider procedures govern the resulting treatment.
11. REFUNDS, DISPUTES, AND NEGATIVE BALANCES
11.1 Provider processes. Refunds, reversals, chargebacks, payment disputes, fraud reviews, and negative balances may be processed through the applicable Payment Provider and may be subject to provider, network, issuer, bank, and Textority procedures.
11.2 Cooperation. You must provide information and records reasonably requested to investigate a payment issue or satisfy a provider requirement. You must not fabricate or alter evidence submitted in connection with a dispute, refund, verification, or provider review.
11.3 Financial responsibility. Responsibility for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fees, negative balances, or related losses is determined by the Payment Terms, Creator Terms, Creator Payout Terms, Transaction Terms, Provider Terms, payment configuration, and applicable law. This Notice does not create a different allocation.
12. PROVIDER RESTRICTIONS AND COMPLIANCE
12.1 Provider rules. Payment Providers may prohibit or restrict businesses, products, services, transactions, countries, payment methods, or account activity. You must comply with Provider Terms and provider restrictions that validly apply to your Connected Account or payment flow.
12.2 Textority restrictions. The Textority Prohibited Products and Services Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Creator Terms, and other applicable Textority terms may be more restrictive than a Payment Provider rule. Provider approval does not override a Textority restriction.
12.3 Regulatory and network requirements. Textority or the Payment Provider may impose verification, monitoring, reserves, restrictions, reporting, or other measures where reasonably necessary to comply with law, sanctions, card-network or payment-method rules, acquiring requirements, fraud controls, or provider obligations.
12.4 No circumvention. You may not create multiple accounts, misstate business activity, route transactions through another person, use misleading descriptions, or take other action to evade a Textority or provider restriction.
13. SUPPORT AND PROVIDER COMMUNICATIONS
13.1 Support route depends on the issue. Textority may provide first-line support for certain connected-account matters. The Payment Provider may provide direct support for other matters. The product interface, Provider Terms, or support instructions may identify the appropriate route.
13.2 Provider notices. A Payment Provider may send legally or operationally required communications directly to you using information supplied during onboarding. You are responsible for maintaining current contact information and reviewing material provider notices.
13.3 Textority communications. Textority may communicate with you about provider onboarding, verification, restrictions, transactions, payouts, disputes, account changes, or other payment-related matters reasonably necessary to operate the Services or comply with applicable obligations.
14. DISCONNECTION, SUSPENSION, AND TERMINATION
14.1 Disconnection. Where the provider configuration permits, a Connected Account may be disconnected from Textority through the method made available by Textority or the Payment Provider. Disconnection may disable payment, payout, refund, dispute, reporting, or other connected functionality.
14.2 Outstanding obligations survive. Disconnection, suspension, or termination does not automatically eliminate obligations arising from prior transactions, including refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fees, reserves, taxes, recordkeeping, legal holds, or other obligations that survive under applicable terms or law.
14.3 Provider termination. A Payment Provider may suspend or terminate provider services according to its Provider Terms. Textority may correspondingly restrict affected Textority payment features when the provider relationship is no longer available.
14.4 Textority enforcement. Textority may restrict or disable connected payment features where permitted by the Textority terms, including for fraud, prohibited activity, verification failure, provider requirements, security concerns, legal obligations, material policy violations, or payment risk.
15. CHANGES TO PROVIDERS OR CONFIGURATION
15.1 Product changes. Textority may add, remove, replace, or change Payment Providers or payment configurations prospectively, subject to applicable law and existing contractual rights.
15.2 New acceptance. If a change requires new Provider Terms, a new provider account, additional authorization, or material new information, Textority may require you to complete a new onboarding or acceptance flow before the affected feature remains available.
15.3 No retroactive reclassification. A later provider or configuration change does not by itself retroactively change the legal or contractual roles that applied to a completed transaction.
16. ORDER OF PRECEDENCE
16.1 Textority order of precedence. The order-of-precedence rules in the Textority Terms of Service apply among Textority documents.
16.2 Provider subject matter. Provider Terms govern the relationship between you and the Payment Provider within the subject matter of those Provider Terms. Textority terms govern your relationship with Textority. A provider document does not amend Textority terms unless Textority expressly agrees to that amendment.
16.3 Transaction-specific disclosures. The applicable checkout, order confirmation, receipt, pricing disclosure, and Transaction Terms may provide transaction-specific information that supplements this Notice.
16.4 Mandatory law. Mandatory law controls where it cannot be varied by agreement.
