TEXTORITY NON-CONSENSUAL INTIMATE CONTENT REMOVAL POLICY

Last Updated: September 30, 2026

This Non-Consensual Intimate Content Removal Policy (the “Policy”) applies to textority.com, text.me, text.to, lets.talk, the Textority web platform, and related websites and online services made available by Textority Inc. (“Textority,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy explains how an identifiable individual, or an authorized person acting on that individual’s behalf, may request removal of intimate visual content published through the Services without the individual’s consent. It is intended to support compliance with the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act, including 47 U.S.C. § 223a, Florida Statutes § 836.13 where applicable, and other applicable laws, while also implementing Textority’s broader safety rules against non-consensual intimate content.

IMPORTANT REMOVAL NOTICE

If an intimate image or video of you is published through the Services without your consent, or you are authorized to act for the depicted person, you may submit a removal request through textority.com/legal/report or by emailing hello@textority.com. You do not need a Textority account to submit a request. A request intended to invoke a legally required notice-and-removal process must include the information required by applicable law, including a physical or electronic signature, information reasonably sufficient to locate the content, a good-faith statement that the publication was non-consensual, and contact information. When applicable law requires the 48-hour process, Textority will act as soon as possible and not later than 48 hours after receiving a valid removal request to remove the reported depiction and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies.

1.1 Purpose. This Policy provides a specialized process for reporting and requesting removal of Non-Consensual Intimate Content. It is designed to reduce harm, provide an accessible removal route, and allow Textority to respond promptly to valid requests and other safety information.

1.2 Services covered. This Policy applies to content published, displayed, transmitted, shared, stored, or otherwise made available through a Textority-controlled part of the Services to the extent Textority can take action on that content or access.

1.3 Statutory process. Where a Textority Service or feature is a covered platform under 47 U.S.C. § 223a, Florida Statutes § 836.13, or another applicable notice-and-removal law, Textority will apply the duties that law imposes to the covered content and request. Statutory definitions and requirements control where they differ from this Policy.

1.4 Broader Textority rules. Textority may remove, restrict, or otherwise act on intimate content under the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Community and Content Rules, or other applicable terms even when a request does not qualify for a statutory removal process or the content falls outside a particular statutory definition.

1.5 No universal classification. Publishing this Policy does not concede that every Textority website, feature, communication, or activity is a “covered platform” or otherwise subject to the same legal classification in every jurisdiction. Textority may nevertheless apply this removal process more broadly as a safety measure.

2. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER TEXTORITY TERMS

2.1 Additional Term. This Policy is an Additional Term under the Textority Terms of Service. The Terms of Service continue to apply.

2.2 Safety and content rules. The Acceptable Use Policy and Community and Content Rules prohibit non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, sextortion, non-consensual sexual deepfakes, and related abuse within their respective scope. This Policy provides the specialized removal process for covered intimate content.

2.3 Minors. Content involving a person under 18 may also trigger child-safety, reporting, preservation, and law-enforcement obligations. Section 10 of this Policy applies in addition to other Textority child-safety rules and applicable law.

2.4 Privacy. Information submitted with a removal request is processed under the Textority Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law, subject to the safety, legal, evidence, and preservation provisions in this Policy.

2.5 Copyright is separate. This Policy is not a DMCA process and does not require the depicted individual to own the copyright in the reported image or video. Copyright notices and counter-notices are governed by the Textority DMCA Policy where applicable.

2.6 Order of precedence. Mandatory law controls where it cannot be varied. The order-of-precedence rules in the Terms of Service apply to other conflicts among Textority terms.

3. DEFINITIONS

3.1 “Authorized Person” means a person legally or otherwise validly authorized to submit a removal request on behalf of a Depicted Individual, including a parent, legal guardian, attorney, personal representative, or other representative where the applicable law or circumstances permit.

3.2 “Depicted Individual” means an identifiable individual whose body, likeness, or other distinguishing characteristic appears in or is represented by the reported intimate content.

3.3 “Digital Forgery” means intimate visual content created or altered using software, artificial intelligence, machine learning, image manipulation, or another technological process so that it depicts or purports to depict an identifiable individual in intimate or sexual content in which that person did not actually participate. Where a statute supplies a narrower definition, that statutory definition controls for the statutory process.

3.4 “Intimate Content” means an image, video, or other visual depiction involving nudity, exposed intimate body areas, sexually explicit conduct, sexual bodily fluids, or comparable intimate sexual content. For a statutory removal request, the governing statutory definition of an “intimate visual depiction,” “altered sexual depiction,” or similar term controls.

3.5 “Non-Consensual Intimate Content” means Intimate Content involving an identifiable person that is created, captured, published, shared, distributed, or otherwise made available without the consent required for the act at issue, including covered Digital Forgeries. Permission to create, possess, or privately receive intimate content does not by itself authorize publication or further sharing.

3.6 “Removal Request” means a request asking Textority to remove or disable access to identified Non-Consensual Intimate Content through this Policy.

3.7 “Valid Removal Request” means a Removal Request that satisfies the elements required by the applicable notice-and-removal law for the content and request at issue.

3.8 “Known Identical Copy” means a copy of reported content that is identical in the sense required by applicable law and is known to or identified by Textority through reasonable review or detection efforts.

4. CONTENT COVERED BY THIS POLICY

4.1 Authentic content shared without consent. This Policy covers authentic intimate images or videos of an identifiable person that are published or shared without the consent required for that publication or sharing, including content originally created or obtained in a private or intimate relationship.

4.2 Secretly captured content. This Policy may cover intimate content captured without the depicted person’s knowledge or consent, including content captured in circumstances in which the person reasonably expected privacy, subject to applicable law and the facts.

4.3 Synthetic and altered content. This Policy covers prohibited intimate Digital Forgeries, sexual deepfakes, nudification, face swaps, synthetic sexual depictions, and other materially similar altered or generated content involving an identifiable person without consent, whether or not the content was created from an authentic intimate image.

4.4 Unauthorized redistribution. Intimate content may violate this Policy even if the depicted person consented to its creation or to a limited disclosure but did not consent to the publication, audience, redistribution, or other use at issue.

4.5 Links and embedded material. Textority may remove or disable a Textority post, message, listing, profile element, file reference, link, or other Textority-controlled surface used to distribute or facilitate prohibited intimate content. Textority cannot remove the original material from an independent third-party service that it does not control.

4.6 Threats and sextortion. Threats to publish intimate content, including sextortion or coercive demands, may violate the Acceptable Use Policy and Community and Content Rules even if the threatened content has not yet been published. Those reports may be handled through Textority’s general safety process in addition to this Policy.

5. WHO MAY SUBMIT A REQUEST

5.1 Depicted Individual. A Depicted Individual may submit a Removal Request concerning intimate content that depicts that individual.

5.2 Authorized Person. An Authorized Person may submit a request on behalf of a Depicted Individual. Textority may request information reasonably necessary to confirm the representative’s authority, especially where required to protect the depicted person or prevent misuse of the process.

5.3 Reports by other persons. Any User or affected person may report suspected Non-Consensual Intimate Content under Textority’s safety rules. A report from a person who is not the Depicted Individual or an Authorized Person may support enforcement, but it does not necessarily constitute a Valid Removal Request under a statute that limits who may invoke the statutory process.

5.4 No account required. A person does not need to create or maintain a Textority account to submit a Removal Request.

5.5 No copyright ownership required. A Depicted Individual does not need to establish copyright ownership merely to request removal under this Policy or an applicable intimate-content removal law.

6. HOW TO SUBMIT A REMOVAL REQUEST

6.1 Online reporting route. Submit a Removal Request through textority.com/legal/report when that route is available for the reported content.

6.2 Email route. A Removal Request may also be submitted to hello@textority.com. The subject line “Intimate Content Removal Request” is recommended for routing but is not required if the substance of the message reasonably identifies the request.

6.3 Identify the content without unnecessary redistribution. Provide the exact Textority URL, Channel or username, message or content identifier, file or listing identifier, or other information reasonably sufficient for Textority to locate the reported content. Do not download, copy, resend, or redistribute intimate content merely to make a report when location information is sufficient.

6.4 Do not send unnecessary intimate files. Unless Textority specifically requests a copy because it is reasonably necessary and lawful to process the request, do not attach the underlying intimate image or video. A URL, content identifier, or other location information is ordinarily preferable.

6.5 Content involving minors. If the reported material may sexually depict a person under 18, do not download, copy, screenshot, forward, or attach the material to an email. Provide location information and other non-image details sufficient for Textority to identify the material. Section 10 applies.

6.6 Multiple items. A request may identify more than one item when each item is described with enough specificity for Textority to locate and evaluate it. A requester is not required to locate or report every duplicate of the same depiction where applicable law requires Textority to make reasonable efforts regarding known identical copies.

7. INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR A VALID REMOVAL REQUEST

7.1 Written request. A request intended to invoke the statutory notice-and-removal process must be submitted in writing through a method Textority makes available.

7.2 Signature. Include a physical or electronic signature of the Depicted Individual or Authorized Person. A typed name or other electronic signature method may qualify to the extent permitted by applicable law and the method used.

7.3 Location information. Identify the reported depiction and provide information reasonably sufficient for Textority to locate it within the Services.

7.4 Good-faith statement. Include a brief statement that the Depicted Individual has a good-faith belief that the reported intimate content was published without that individual’s consent, together with any relevant information reasonably helpful to evaluate the lack of consent.

7.5 Contact information. Provide information reasonably sufficient for Textority to contact the Depicted Individual or Authorized Person about the request.

7.6 Representative information. If the request is submitted by an Authorized Person, identify the represented individual and the basis on which the requester is authorized to act. Textority may request proportionate supporting information where reasonably necessary.

7.7 Additional information. Textority may request limited additional information when reasonably necessary to locate the content, confirm authority, distinguish the depicted person, resolve ambiguity, prevent fraud or abuse, or satisfy applicable law. Textority will not treat optional information as a statutory prerequisite when the governing law does not require it.

8. INTAKE, REVIEW, AND RESPONSE

8.1 Acknowledgment. When the submitted contact information permits, Textority will send or make available an acknowledgment or other reference sufficient to identify the request. Textority may use the same contact information to request missing information or communicate the result.

8.2 Completeness review. Textority may review whether the request identifies content on the Services, is submitted by an eligible person, contains the information required by applicable law, and provides enough information to take action.

8.3 Statutory timing. Where applicable law requires removal within 48 hours after a valid request, the legally required period applies once Textority receives a Valid Removal Request satisfying the applicable requirements. Textority may act earlier and may act on prohibited content even before all statutory elements are complete.

8.4 Prompt action. Textority may prioritize an intimate-content report based on the apparent severity, risk of continued dissemination, involvement of a minor, sextortion, threats, account compromise, or other safety circumstances, without creating a different legal deadline unless required by law.

8.5 No advance notice required. Textority may remove or disable access to reported content without first notifying the User who posted, uploaded, transmitted, or controlled it when Textority reasonably believes prompt action is appropriate for legal compliance, safety, privacy, evidence preservation, or harm reduction.

8.6 Good-faith removal. Textority may remove or disable access to material in good faith when the facts or circumstances reasonably indicate that it is prohibited Non-Consensual Intimate Content. Removal under this Policy is a platform and compliance action, not a final judicial determination of criminal liability, civil liability, ownership, or damages between private parties.

9. REMOVAL, IDENTICAL COPIES, AND REUPLOADS

9.1 Required removal. Upon receiving a Valid Removal Request that is subject to a 48-hour removal requirement, Textority will, as soon as possible and not later than 48 hours after receipt of that valid request, remove or disable access to the reported depiction within the covered Services.

9.2 Known identical copies. Within the same legally required period, Textority will make reasonable efforts to identify and remove Known Identical Copies where applicable law requires that action.

9.3 Reasonable efforts standard. Reasonable efforts may include review of reports, identifiers, metadata, account activity, available technical matching methods, or other lawful tools appropriate to the Services and content at issue. This Policy does not promise that Textority uses a particular hashing, fingerprinting, scanning, or detection technology unless that capability is actually implemented.

9.4 No guarantee of every copy. Textority does not guarantee that it can identify every copy, materially altered version, screenshot, re-encoding, crop, derivative, or future reupload. Textority may act on newly identified copies or related violations when they come to its attention.

9.5 Reuploads and evasion. A User may not re-upload, repost, relink, mirror, encode, alter, or otherwise redistribute content that Textority has removed or restricted as Non-Consensual Intimate Content, or use another account, Channel, file, domain, integration, or external step to evade an enforcement action.

10. MINORS, CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL, AND SEXUAL EXPLOITATION

10.1 Heightened treatment. Intimate or sexual content involving a person under 18 may constitute child sexual abuse material or other illegal child sexual exploitation content and is subject to heightened safety and legal treatment.

10.2 Do not possess or redistribute illegal material. A requester, User, Creator, guardian, or other person must not download, copy, preserve, redistribute, forward, or independently investigate suspected illegal sexual material involving a minor in an attempt to support a report. Provide location information and other lawful identifying details instead.

10.3 Reporting and preservation duties. If Textority obtains information or content that triggers a duty to report suspected child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or another authority, or a duty to preserve covered material, Textority will perform those obligations as required by applicable law.

10.4 Removal and legal preservation are different. Removing or disabling access to illegal or prohibited material does not require Textority to destroy a restricted evidentiary copy that Textority must or may lawfully preserve for a CyberTipline report, legal hold, investigation, law-enforcement request, enforcement record, or other lawful purpose.

10.5 Requests for minors. A parent, legal guardian, or other Authorized Person may submit a Removal Request for a minor where permitted by applicable law. Textority may take immediate safety action independently of the statutory request process when material appears to involve sexual exploitation of a minor.

11. ACCOUNT, CHANNEL, AND ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS

11.1 Content removal is not the only remedy. In addition to removing or restricting content, Textority may warn a User, restrict communications, disable features, block transactions, restrict a Channel, suspend or terminate an account, preserve evidence, or take another proportionate action under the Terms of Service and applicable policies.

11.2 Severe or repeated conduct. Textority may impose stronger action for sextortion, threats, deliberate distribution of intimate content without consent, sexual deepfakes, content involving minors, repeated reuploads, evasion, organized sharing, monetization of prohibited content, or other severe or repeated abuse.

11.3 Creator responsibility. A Creator may not authorize, encourage, monetize, distribute, or knowingly permit Non-Consensual Intimate Content through a Channel, Creator Offering, community, communication, or other Creator-controlled activity. Creator-specific obligations under the Creator Terms continue to apply.

11.4 No retaliation. A User may not retaliate against a person for submitting a good-faith intimate-content report, assisting a depicted person, cooperating with Textority, or exercising a legal right.

12. INCOMPLETE, UNLOCATABLE, OR ABUSIVE REQUESTS

12.1 Missing required information. If a request intended to invoke a statutory process omits material information required by law, Textority may ask the requester to provide the missing information. Textority may still take voluntary policy action before the request becomes a Valid Removal Request.

12.2 Unable to locate content. If Textority cannot locate the reported material from the information provided, Textority may request a more precise URL, identifier, account, Channel, message location, or other lawful location information.

12.3 Good-faith mistakes. A requester does not violate this Policy merely because a good-faith request is ultimately unsubstantiated, the content is already unavailable, or Textority determines that a particular statutory process does not apply.

12.4 False or abusive submissions. Knowingly fabricated requests, forged signatures, impersonation of a Depicted Individual or Authorized Person, deliberate falsification of consent information, or use of this process to harass, censor unrelated lawful content, obtain another person’s private information, or interfere with legitimate reporting may violate Textority policies or applicable law.

12.5 Repetitive submissions. Textority may consolidate duplicate submissions or limit abusive, automated, bad-faith, or materially repetitive requests to the extent permitted by applicable law, without delaying action on a Valid Removal Request that requires action within a statutory deadline.

13. PRIVACY AND HANDLING OF REQUEST INFORMATION

13.1 Purpose limitation. Textority may use information submitted with a Removal Request to authenticate and administer the request, locate and review content, communicate with the requester, enforce Textority rules, prevent abuse, comply with law, preserve evidence, and protect Users and the Services.

13.2 Limited disclosure. Textority may disclose request information to personnel, contractors, service providers, the reported User, legal advisers, law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other persons when reasonably necessary and permitted or required for review, enforcement, safety, legal compliance, or due process. Textority may redact or withhold reporter contact information where appropriate to protect safety, privacy, security, or the integrity of an investigation.

13.3 No absolute confidentiality promise. Textority seeks to limit unnecessary disclosure of sensitive request information but does not promise absolute confidentiality where disclosure is required or reasonably necessary for a lawful purpose.

13.4 Data minimization. Requesters should provide only information reasonably necessary to identify the content, establish the request, and permit follow-up. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, unrelated government identification documents, or unrelated sensitive information.

13.5 Retention. Request records, enforcement records, removed-content evidence, and related information may be retained for the period reasonably necessary for the request, safety, enforcement, fraud prevention, legal compliance, preservation, claims, or other purposes described in the Privacy Policy and Data Retention and Deletion Policy.

14. PRESERVATION, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND EMERGENCIES

14.1 Removal does not require destruction. A removal action generally concerns availability through the Services. Textority may preserve restricted information or evidence when permitted or required for legal compliance, child-safety reporting, law enforcement, a valid preservation request, litigation, enforcement, fraud prevention, or other lawful purposes.

14.2 Legal requests. Textority may respond to valid court orders, subpoenas, warrants, preservation requests, regulator requests, or other legal process as permitted or required by law. A Removal Request does not itself require disclosure of account information about another User.

14.3 Immediate danger. Textority is not an emergency service. A person facing imminent physical danger, sexual violence, extortion, stalking, or another emergency should contact appropriate local emergency services or law enforcement. The person may also report the related Textority content or account through the reporting routes Textority makes available.

14.4 Independent remedies. This Policy does not prevent a person from reporting conduct to law enforcement, the Federal Trade Commission, another regulator, a court, a payment provider, or another competent authority, or from exercising any other legal remedy available to that person.

15. REVIEW, RESTORATION, AND OTHER USER RIGHTS

15.1 No automatic counter-notice. This Policy does not create a DMCA-style counter-notice procedure or an automatic right to restoration for content removed as Non-Consensual Intimate Content.

15.2 Review where available. If Textority offers a review or appeal process for an account or content enforcement action, the affected User may use that process subject to the Terms of Service and Community and Content Rules. A review request does not suspend a mandatory removal deadline and does not require restoration of content that Textority must or reasonably chooses to keep unavailable for legal, safety, privacy, or policy reasons.

15.3 No waiver of rights. Textority’s internal process does not limit any non-waivable statutory right of the Depicted Individual, requester, reported User, or another person.

16. LIMITS OF TEXTORITY CONTROL

16.1 Textority-controlled Services. Textority can remove, disable, restrict, or preserve content only within the systems, accounts, features, and relationships it controls or can lawfully direct.

16.2 Third-party services. Textority does not control independent websites, social networks, search engines, messaging services, payment providers, hosting providers acting independently, device storage, browser caches, recipient devices, or other third-party systems merely because a Textority User links to or interacts with them.

16.3 No general monitoring promise. Textority does not represent that it continuously monitors every communication, file, Channel, account, or item of User Content for intimate imagery. Textority may use reports, human review, automated systems, metadata, provider signals, and other lawful methods to identify and address violations.

16.4 No permanence guarantee. Removal from Textority does not guarantee that a copy has not been saved, forwarded, indexed, cached, altered, or republished elsewhere. Textority may take additional action on future violations that come to its attention but does not guarantee complete eradication from the Internet.

17. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

17.1 Prospective updates. Textority may update this Policy prospectively to reflect changes in law, regulation, enforcement guidance, court decisions, product functionality, safety practices, or Textority terms.

17.2 Legal duties continue. A policy update does not reduce a duty or right that applicable law does not permit Textority to waive or delay.

17.3 Existing requests. A request received before an update will be handled under the law and Textority terms applicable to that request, together with any later rule that must apply by law.
