TEXTORITY COMMUNITY AND CONTENT RULES
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
This Community and Content Rules policy applies to textority.com, text.me, text.to, lets.talk, the Textority web platform, and related websites and online services made available by Textority Inc. (collectively, the “Services”).
These Rules supplement the Textority Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy and apply to Users, Creators, Channels, Creator Team Members, End Users, visitors, and Community Content. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. PURPOSE, SCOPE, AND RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER TERMS
1.1 Purpose. These Community and Content Rules establish standards for content and behavior in Textority spaces where Users publish, share, display, distribute, or communicate material to other people. They are intended to support lawful expression, user safety, privacy, platform integrity, and reasonable moderation without turning Textority into a general arbiter of lawful opinion or public controversy.
1.2 Additional Term. These Rules are an Additional Term under the Textority Terms of Service and supplement the Terms of Service, including Sections 16, 17, 20, and 21. The Terms of Service continue to apply in full.
1.3 Related policies. The Acceptable Use Policy governs prohibited uses of Textority infrastructure, accounts, communications, automation, data, and systems. The Prohibited Products and Services Policy governs products, services, transactions, fundraising, professional categories, and other commercial activity. These Rules govern community-facing content, user-to-user conduct, and moderation standards within their specific subject matter.
1.4 Covered content. For purposes of these Rules, “Community Content” means User Content intentionally shared with or made available to other Users or the public through profiles, Channels, communities, group spaces, posts, comments, listings, media, files, shared conversations, or similar Textority features.
1.5 Mandatory law. Nothing in these Rules authorizes content or conduct prohibited by applicable law. Textority may restrict content or conduct under these Rules even when the material is not independently unlawful.
1.6 Examples are not exhaustive. Examples identify common applications of these Rules and do not limit Textority’s ability to address materially similar content or conduct that creates substantially the same safety, abuse, fraud, privacy, legal, or platform-integrity risk.
1.7 No enablement by mention. Mentioning a feature, content type, moderation action, age control, report type, or community function does not mean Textority currently supports or enables it.
2. COMMUNITY PRINCIPLES AND CONTEXT
2.1 Safety and expression. Textority supports lawful communication, creativity, education, business activity, criticism, commentary, and discussion. Users must exercise those freedoms without exploiting, threatening, defrauding, unlawfully targeting, or materially endangering other people.
2.2 Context matters. Textority may consider the purpose, audience, presentation, surrounding text, age of affected Users, newsworthiness, educational value, artistic context, likelihood of harm, and other relevant circumstances when applying these Rules.
2.3 Intent is not always controlling. Harmful content may violate these Rules even when the User states that no harm was intended, particularly where the content involves minors, credible threats, intimate material, doxxing, fraud, impersonation, or severe privacy or safety risk.
2.4 Legitimate discussion. Lawful educational, documentary, journalistic, historical, scientific, prevention, recovery, artistic, or public-policy discussion is not prohibited solely because it addresses a sensitive, controversial, regulated, or harmful subject. Context does not protect content that itself materially facilitates exploitation, violence, fraud, abuse, or another prohibited activity.
2.5 No retaliation. Users may not retaliate against a person for making a good-faith safety, privacy, consumer, fraud, intellectual-property, or legal report, or for participating in a legitimate review or investigation.
3. WHERE THESE RULES APPLY
3.1 Public and shared spaces. These Rules apply to Community Content, including content displayed on public or shared Channel surfaces, community spaces, group areas, profiles, listings, media, files, comments, and similar features.
3.2 Private communications. These Rules do not represent that Textority continuously monitors private communications. Safety, legal, fraud, security, and abuse rules may apply to private communications when they are reported, become relevant to a valid investigation, are identified through a lawful safety or security process, or otherwise come to Textority’s attention in a manner permitted by law.
3.3 External material connected to Textority. A link, embedded item, redirect, external file, QR code, or off-platform destination may be treated as part of the relevant Textority content when it is used to distribute, promote, conceal, or facilitate material that these Rules or another Textority policy prohibit.
3.4 Creator rules. A Creator may adopt additional reasonable community rules for a Channel or community. Creator rules may be more restrictive than these Rules but may not authorize conduct that Textority prohibits, waive mandatory user rights, or contradict higher-priority Textority terms.
4. CHILD SAFETY AND MINORS
4.1 Zero tolerance. Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, sextortion involving a minor, child trafficking, and other conduct that sexually exploits or endangers a minor are prohibited in every case.
4.2 Sexualization of minors. Users may not create, share, request, link to, simulate, or promote sexualized images, videos, audio, text, roleplay, synthetic media, or other sexual content involving a real or represented minor where prohibited by law or these Rules.
4.3 Grooming and predatory conduct. Users may not build trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, request sexual material from a minor, encourage secrecy from a parent or guardian for exploitative purposes, arrange unlawful sexual contact, or use gifts, money, threats, attention, or status to facilitate sexual conduct with a minor.
4.4 Age-control evasion. Users may not instruct or assist a minor to falsify age, evade guardian requirements, use another person’s account, or bypass Textority age or safety controls.
4.5 Non-sexual youth content. Lawful family, educational, artistic, sports, school, news, or other non-sexual content involving minors is not prohibited solely because a minor appears in it. Users must still respect privacy, consent, safety, intellectual-property, and applicable child-protection requirements.
4.6 Reporting. If you encounter suspected child sexual exploitation material, use an appropriate reporting route. Do not download, copy, redistribute, retain, or independently investigate illegal material beyond what is lawful and reasonably necessary to report it.
4.7 Textority legal duties. Where applicable law imposes reporting, preservation, or cooperation duties on Textority after Textority obtains the legally relevant knowledge, Textority will perform those duties.
5. ADULT SEXUAL CONTENT, NUDITY, AND SEXUAL SERVICES
5.1 Launch rule for shared content. At launch, pornography, explicit sexual acts, explicit sexualized nudity, sexual fetish content primarily designed for sexual gratification, and explicit sexual roleplay are not permitted in public profiles, Channels, communities, listings, comments, group spaces, or other Community Content surfaces.
5.2 Commerce restrictions. Adult sexual products, services, paid sexual chat, explicit paid media, sexual performances, escort activity, and related commerce are separately governed by the Prohibited Products and Services Policy, which may impose broader restrictions.
5.3 Non-explicit legitimate contexts. Lawful non-explicit sexual-health education, relationship education, medical information, breastfeeding, pregnancy, artistic works, journalism, documentary material, survivor-support content, and academic discussion are not prohibited solely because they concern sexuality, anatomy, or sexual health, provided the content does not sexualize minors or materially facilitate prohibited conduct.
5.4 Teen Users. Sexually explicit content may not be made available to Teen Users through the Services. Textority may apply additional age, visibility, or feature restrictions where reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance.
5.5 Lawful private adult communications. Section 5.1 governs shared or community-facing content and does not by itself prohibit ordinary lawful private communications between consenting adults that are not posted or distributed as Community Content. The Acceptable Use Policy, Prohibited Products and Services Policy, Terms of Service, and applicable law continue to apply.
6. NON-CONSENSUAL INTIMATE CONTENT AND SEXUAL ABUSE
6.1 Non-consensual intimate imagery. Users may not create, upload, distribute, threaten to distribute, request, sell, link to, or facilitate intimate images or recordings of an identifiable person without the person’s legally sufficient consent where prohibited by law or these Rules.
6.2 Digital forgeries. Prohibited material includes sexual deepfakes, synthetic intimate imagery, face-swaps, nudification, or other digitally created or altered intimate content depicting an identifiable person without lawful consent.
6.3 Sextortion and coercion. Users may not use actual, threatened, fabricated, or altered intimate content to obtain money, sexual material, services, access, silence, control, or another benefit through coercion or extortion.
6.4 Sexual violence. Content that sexualizes, glorifies, promotes, or materially facilitates rape, sexual assault, trafficking, coercive sexual activity, or other non-consensual sexual conduct is prohibited. Good-faith survivor accounts, journalism, education, prevention, and non-sexualized fictional or documentary treatment may be permitted when otherwise lawful and compliant with these Rules.
6.5 Removal requests. A person depicted in potentially covered intimate content may use the specialized removal process identified in the Textority Legal Center or another reporting route Textority makes available. Textority will handle legally covered requests in accordance with applicable law.
7. HARASSMENT, BULLYING, STALKING, THREATS, AND COERCION
7.1 Credible threats. Users may not make credible threats of unlawful violence, coordinate targeted violence, solicit violence-for-hire, or encourage imminent physical harm.
7.2 Targeted harassment. Users may not repeatedly target a person with severe abuse, intimidation, degrading conduct, unwanted contact, or coordinated harassment in a manner that creates a material safety risk or violates applicable law.
7.3 Stalking. Users may not use Textority to track, monitor, contact, or coordinate conduct against another person in a manner that constitutes unlawful stalking or creates a serious safety risk.
7.4 Coercion and extortion. Users may not use threats, private information, intimate material, account access, professional leverage, financial leverage, or other coercive means to unlawfully obtain money, property, services, sexual material, access, silence, or compliance.
7.5 Good-faith criticism. Lawful criticism, disagreement, consumer complaints, negative reviews, satire, parody, commentary, reporting, and criticism of public figures or institutions are not prohibited solely because they are harsh, negative, embarrassing, or unwelcome. Threats, targeted abuse, doxxing, unlawful discrimination, and other prohibited conduct remain subject to these Rules.
8. HATEFUL AND DEHUMANIZING CONDUCT
8.1 Protected Characteristics. For purposes of these Rules, Protected Characteristics include race, color, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, serious medical condition, age, immigration status, and other comparable characteristics protected by applicable law or expressly identified in Textority safety rules.
8.2 Hateful attacks. Users may not call for violence against, dehumanize, advocate severe unlawful discrimination against, or direct serious degrading attacks at a person or group because of a Protected Characteristic.
8.3 Slurs and stereotypes. Targeted use of severe slurs, dehumanizing stereotypes, or content that portrays a protected group as inherently subhuman or deserving of violence may violate these Rules. Context, quotation, reclamation, counterspeech, news reporting, and educational use may affect enforcement.
8.4 Ideas and institutions. These Rules do not prohibit criticism or discussion of religions, ideologies, political movements, governments, institutions, laws, public policies, historical events, or beliefs merely because the discussion is offensive or controversial. Attacks on people based on Protected Characteristics remain prohibited.
9. PRIVACY, DOXXING, AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
9.1 Non-public personal information. Users may not publish, solicit, trade, or weaponize another person’s non-public personal information for harassment, intimidation, identity theft, fraud, stalking, extortion, or physical harm.
9.2 High-risk information. Textority may remove or restrict content that exposes credentials, authentication codes, financial-account information, government identification data, precise private residential information, private medical information, or similar data where publication creates a material privacy, security, or safety risk and is not justified by lawful public-interest context.
9.3 Private communications and media. Users may not publish another person’s private messages, recordings, images, or files in violation of applicable law, confidentiality duties, privacy rights, or these Rules.
9.4 Public-interest context. Lawful journalism, legal reporting, public records, whistleblowing, consumer warnings, and discussion of information already lawfully public are not prohibited merely because the information is unfavorable. Textority may still restrict unnecessary exposure of sensitive details when reasonably necessary to reduce a concrete safety or privacy risk.
10. IMPERSONATION, DECEPTIVE IDENTITY, AND SYNTHETIC MEDIA
10.1 Impersonation. Users may not impersonate or misleadingly suggest affiliation with another person, Creator, brand, professional, institution, government body, emergency service, payment provider, or Textority in a manner likely to deceive or cause harm.
10.2 Parody and fan content. Clearly presented parody, satire, commentary, tribute, or fan content is not prohibited solely because it references or depicts another person or organization, provided it does not materially mislead Users about identity, sponsorship, authority, or affiliation.
10.3 Synthetic media. AI-generated, altered, cloned, or synthetic media is subject to the same rules as other content. Users may not use synthetic media to commit fraud, fabricate professional credentials, create prohibited intimate imagery, impersonate another person deceptively, or materially misrepresent a person’s words or actions in a manner tied to a concrete legal, financial, safety, or privacy harm.
10.4 Disclosure. Textority may require a disclosure that content is synthetic, AI-generated, sponsored, affiliated, or otherwise materially altered where applicable law, a Textority feature, or the circumstances require disclosure to prevent deception. These Rules do not impose a universal labeling requirement on every use of AI assistance.
11. FRAUD, SCAMS, DECEPTIVE CLAIMS, AND MANIPULATIVE CONTENT
11.1 Fraudulent content. Users may not publish or distribute content designed to facilitate phishing, identity theft, advance-fee schemes, romance scams, fraudulent fundraising, fake investment schemes, account takeovers, payment fraud, or other schemes intended to obtain money, credentials, property, data, or services through deception.
11.2 False credentials and authority. Users may not fabricate or materially misrepresent professional licenses, identity documents, business status, affiliations, endorsements, regulatory approvals, verification status, academic credentials, or authority to act for another person or entity.
11.3 Reviews and social proof. Users may not create, buy, sell, coordinate, or knowingly disseminate fake or materially deceptive reviews, testimonials, endorsements, followers, engagement, or other social proof in violation of applicable law, the Creator Terms, or these Rules.
11.4 Commercial claims. Creator listings and promotional content must comply with the Creator Terms, including requirements concerning truthful, non-misleading, and substantiated claims where substantiation is legally required.
11.5 No general truth-policing commitment. Textority does not undertake to resolve every factual dispute, prediction, opinion, scientific disagreement, political claim, religious claim, or public controversy. Textority may act when false, fabricated, or manipulated content is materially connected to fraud, impersonation, fake credentials, prohibited intimate imagery, unlawful conduct, or a concrete safety or consumer harm covered by these Rules or another Textority policy.
12. VIOLENCE, GRAPHIC CONTENT, AND ANIMAL ABUSE
12.1 Promotion of violence. Content that credibly encourages, coordinates, celebrates for the purpose of encouraging, or materially facilitates unlawful targeted violence may be removed or restricted.
12.2 Graphic real-world harm. Users may not post graphic depictions of real death, severe injury, torture, dismemberment, or comparable gore primarily to shock, harass, terrorize, celebrate suffering, or target a victim or the victim’s family.
12.3 Animal cruelty. Content that depicts, promotes, coordinates, or celebrates intentional unlawful cruelty to animals may be removed or restricted. Legitimate veterinary, agricultural, scientific, educational, documentary, news, or animal-welfare content may be permitted when otherwise lawful.
12.4 Documentary and news context. Lawful news reporting, historical documentation, human-rights evidence, public-interest reporting, education, and other legitimate contextual uses of disturbing material are not automatically prohibited. Textority may restrict visibility or require additional context when reasonably necessary for safety or age appropriateness.
13. SELF-HARM, EATING-DISORDER ABUSE, AND DANGEROUS CHALLENGES
13.1 Encouragement and instructions. Users may not encourage suicide, self-harm, dangerous starvation, purging, or other serious self-injury, or provide actionable instructions intended to help another person carry out such harm.
13.2 Coercion. Threats of self-harm used to manipulate, extort, control, or coerce another person may violate these Rules and the Acceptable Use Policy.
13.3 Dangerous challenges. Users may not organize or promote challenges, dares, games, or stunts that create a substantial and foreseeable risk of serious physical injury, especially when directed to minors.
13.4 Recovery and prevention. Good-faith recovery discussion, survivor experiences, prevention resources, public-health information, non-clinical support, journalism, research, and education are not prohibited solely because they discuss self-harm, eating disorders, addiction, or other dangerous conduct.
13.5 Emergency limitations. Textority and Textority AI are not emergency or crisis-response services. A person in immediate danger should contact appropriate emergency services or qualified local resources.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND UNAUTHORIZED CONTENT
14.1 Required rights. Users may not post, distribute, sell, or otherwise use content through the Services unless they have the rights, permissions, licenses, or legal basis necessary for that use.
14.2 Infringing and counterfeit material. Copyright infringement, trademark infringement, counterfeit content, unauthorized commercial use of another person’s likeness, and theft or disclosure of trade secrets may violate these Rules and other Textority terms.
14.3 Lawful uses preserved. Fair use, criticism, commentary, parody, quotation, nominative use, public-domain use, licensed use, interoperability, and other uses protected or permitted by applicable law are not prohibited merely because a rights holder objects.
14.4 Specialized complaints. Textority may require copyright, trademark, counterfeit, or similar rights complaints to use the specialized process identified in the Legal Center or applicable Textority policy.
15. SPAM, DISRUPTION, AND COMMUNITY MANIPULATION
15.1 Disruptive posting. Users may not flood, spam, repeatedly repost, mass-mention, or otherwise disrupt a Channel or community in a manner that materially interferes with ordinary use or violates applicable messaging rules.
15.2 Coordinated manipulation. Users may not coordinate fake engagement, deceptive brigading, fraudulent voting, fabricated community activity, or similar manipulation intended to create a false appearance of popularity, consensus, demand, or endorsement.
15.3 Malicious links and files. Users may not post links, files, attachments, or QR codes designed to distribute malware, steal credentials, deceive Users about their destination, or facilitate another prohibited activity.
15.4 Creator moderation. A Creator may remove repetitive, off-topic, disruptive, abusive, or otherwise rule-violating content from the Creator’s own community under reasonable community rules, subject to applicable law and higher-priority Textority terms.
16. AI-GENERATED, AUTOMATED, AND ASSISTED CONTENT
16.1 Same rules apply. Content created, transformed, summarized, translated, recommended, scheduled, or distributed with artificial intelligence or automation is subject to the same Community and Content Rules as human-created content.
16.2 User responsibility. A User that configures or publishes AI-assisted content remains responsible for the content and for reviewing outputs as appropriate before relying on, sending, or publishing them.
16.3 Prohibited uses. AI or automation may not be used to scale harassment, generate prohibited intimate content, sexualize minors, create fraudulent credentials, impersonate others deceptively, produce unlawful malware, evade moderation, or automate another violation of these Rules.
16.4 AI limitations. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, inappropriate, or misleading. Textority does not represent that AI-generated content is verified or suitable for professional, emergency, legal, medical, financial, or other regulated reliance.
17. CIVIC, POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, AND PUBLIC-INTEREST EXPRESSION
17.1 Lawful political expression. Textority does not restrict lawful political expression solely because of political viewpoint, party affiliation, ideology, candidate support, opposition, or policy position.
17.2 General rules still apply. Political or civic content remains subject to generally applicable rules concerning threats, harassment, hateful conduct, fraud, impersonation, privacy, intellectual property, child safety, prohibited fundraising, and other unlawful or prohibited conduct.
17.3 Religion and belief. Users may discuss, practice, advocate, criticize, or reject religions and belief systems, subject to the rules against targeted hateful attacks and other prohibited conduct toward people.
17.4 Public figures and institutions. Robust criticism, commentary, satire, parody, and reporting concerning public figures, companies, governments, institutions, and public controversies are not prohibited merely because they are unfavorable, disputed, or offensive.
17.5 Political fundraising. Political fundraising, campaign contributions, and related commerce remain governed by the Prohibited Products and Services Policy. A commerce restriction does not by itself prohibit lawful political discussion or advocacy.
18. EDUCATIONAL, DOCUMENTARY, ARTISTIC, SCIENTIFIC, AND NEWSWORTHY CONTEXT
18.1 Contextual allowance. Material that would be inappropriate or prohibited when used to encourage harm may be permissible when presented for legitimate education, prevention, documentary, artistic, historical, scientific, legal, news, counterspeech, or human-rights purposes.
18.2 Context must be genuine. A label such as “educational,” “satire,” “art,” or “news” does not excuse content whose actual purpose or effect is to exploit a minor, threaten a person, facilitate fraud, distribute prohibited intimate content, materially enable unlawful violence, or evade another Textority rule.
18.3 Minimum necessary exposure. Where sensitive material is used for a legitimate purpose, Users should avoid unnecessary exposure of graphic details, personal information, intimate imagery, or identifying information when the purpose can reasonably be achieved without it.
18.4 Textority discretion. Textority may consider whether a less harmful presentation, removal of unnecessary details, or other proportionate restriction can preserve legitimate expression while addressing the identified risk.
19. CREATORS, COMMUNITY OPERATORS, AND MODERATORS
19.1 Creator responsibility. A Creator that operates a Channel or community is responsible for the Creator’s own content, Creator Content, Creator Team Members, and community rules to the extent provided by the Creator Terms.
19.2 Additional community rules. Creators may establish additional standards for participation, topics, civility, posting frequency, access, or membership. Those standards must be consistent with Textority terms and applicable law.
19.3 Moderator conduct. Creator Team Members and moderators may not use moderation permissions to harass Users, access information outside their authorized role, retaliate against good-faith reports, manipulate commerce disputes, or facilitate prohibited conduct.
19.4 Textority authority. A Creator’s decision to allow content does not prevent Textority from enforcing its own Rules. A Creator’s decision to remove content does not necessarily mean Textority determined that the content violated these Rules.
19.5 No supervision promise. Textority does not represent that it supervises every Creator, moderator, Channel, community, or moderation decision.
20. REGULATED, HIGH-RISK, AND COMMERCIAL SUBJECTS
20.1 Commerce classifications. Whether a product, service, fundraiser, regulated service, adult service, financial activity, health-related offering, weapon-related activity, drug-related activity, gambling activity, or other commercial category may be promoted or sold is governed by the Prohibited Products and Services Policy.
20.2 Discussion is different from facilitation. Lawful discussion, criticism, news, policy debate, harm-prevention information, and general education about regulated or prohibited subjects are not automatically prohibited. Users may not use educational framing to facilitate an illegal or prohibited transaction or service.
20.3 Professional content. Professional, medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, and other regulated content remains subject to the Terms of Service, Creator Terms, Prohibited Products and Services Policy, applicable professional obligations, and any feature-specific restrictions.
20.4 No emergency or regulated-service implication. Users may not falsely represent Textority or Textority AI as a licensed professional, emergency response service, crisis-monitoring system, government authority, or regulated institution.
21. REPORTING AND SPECIALIZED PROCESSES
21.1 General reports. A User or other affected person may report suspected prohibited, illegal, unsafe, infringing, fraudulent, or abusive Community Content through textority.com/legal/report or another reporting or support route Textority makes available.
21.2 Child-safety reports. Reports involving suspected child sexual exploitation should identify the relevant account, Channel, or location without unnecessarily downloading, copying, or redistributing illegal material.
21.3 Intimate-content removal. A person seeking removal of non-consensual intimate imagery may use the specialized process identified in the Legal Center or another available reporting route. Textority will handle legally covered removal requests within the time required by applicable law.
21.4 Intellectual-property reports. Copyright, trademark, counterfeit, and similar rights complaints may require information or statutory statements specific to the applicable process.
21.5 Emergencies. Textority is not an emergency service. A person facing immediate danger should contact appropriate emergency services or law enforcement. A report to Textority does not guarantee immediate intervention.
21.6 Report information. Textority may request information reasonably necessary to locate the material, understand the context, authenticate a request where appropriate, prevent fraud, preserve evidence, or comply with law.
22. MODERATION, REVIEW, AND ENFORCEMENT
22.1 Available actions. Subject to the Terms of Service and applicable law, Textority may remove or restrict content, disable links, limit visibility, restrict a feature, require verification, warn a User, restrict communications, suspend or terminate an account or Channel, preserve evidence, or take another proportionate action reasonably necessary to address a violation.
22.2 Review factors. Textority may consider severity, context, audience, whether minors are involved, intent, actual or foreseeable harm, repetition, prior enforcement, evasion, newsworthiness, legitimate educational or documentary purpose, legal requirements, provider requirements, and whether a narrower measure can reasonably address the risk.
22.3 Urgent action. Textority may act without advance notice when reasonably necessary because of child safety, imminent harm, credible threats, non-consensual intimate imagery, severe fraud, account compromise, security risk, sanctions, legal process, evidence-preservation duties, or another urgent legal or safety risk.
22.4 No entitlement to distribution. A User’s ownership of User Content does not create a right to have Textority host, recommend, distribute, index, monetize, or continue displaying content that violates these Rules or another applicable term.
22.5 Existing transactions and rights. Content moderation or account enforcement does not automatically eliminate rights or obligations relating to completed transactions, purchased access, refunds, chargebacks, payouts, legal holds, or non-waivable consumer rights.
22.6 Repeat or severe violations. Repeated violations, severe abuse, child exploitation, material fraud, coordinated harassment, security attacks, enforcement evasion, or other high-risk conduct may result in account or Channel termination and restrictions on future use as permitted by law.
23. APPEALS, RESTORATION, AND GOOD-FAITH REPORTING
23.1 Appeals. Where Textority makes an appeal or review process available for a particular moderation action, the affected User may submit an appeal through the route identified in the notice or Legal Center.
23.2 No automatic restoration. An appeal does not automatically restore content, access, community privileges, transactions, payments, payouts, or an account.
23.3 Limits. Textority may limit repetitive, abusive, fraudulent, procedurally ineligible, or previously resolved appeals and may decline restoration where law, child safety, security, sanctions, provider requirements, or urgent risk prevents it.
23.4 Good-faith reports. A person does not violate these Rules merely because a good-faith report is not substantiated. Knowingly fabricated reports, forged evidence, or deliberate abuse of reporting systems may violate the Acceptable Use Policy.
23.5 Mandatory rights. Textority’s internal review process does not replace or limit a non-waivable right to report conduct to law enforcement, a regulator, a court, a payment provider, or another competent authority.
24. MODERATION BOUNDARIES AND NO GENERAL MONITORING PROMISE
24.1 No continuous review promise. Textority does not represent that it continuously reviews every item of Community Content or every private communication, and these Rules do not create a contractual duty to monitor all User activity.
24.2 Review methods. Textority may use User reports, human review, automated systems, metadata, provider signals, account information, or other lawful methods to identify or evaluate potential violations.
24.3 Moderation is not certification. Content remaining available on Textority is not a Textority endorsement, verification, certification, or guarantee of accuracy, legality, safety, professional quality, or suitability.
24.4 Reporter and investigation privacy. Textority may limit disclosure of reporter identities, investigative methods, evidence, security information, moderation signals, or legal-request details when disclosure would violate law, compromise safety or security, reveal another person’s information, or undermine enforcement.
24.5 Human and automated limitations. Moderation decisions can be imperfect. Where Textority offers review or appeal, those mechanisms may be used to provide additional context, subject to the limits in Section 23.
25. CHANGES, ORDER OF PRECEDENCE, AND CONTACT
25.1 Prospective changes. Textority may update these Rules prospectively in accordance with Section 30 of the Terms of Service.
25.2 Material changes. Textority will provide reasonable notice of a material change where applicable law or the nature of the change requires advance notice and will request affirmative reacceptance where required.
25.3 No retroactive punishment. A later change does not by itself convert previously permitted content into a past violation. Textority may require future content and continued use of the Services to comply with updated Rules, subject to applicable law and required notice.
25.4 Order of precedence. The order-of-precedence rules in Section 30.5 of the Terms of Service apply. For community and content matters, these Rules supplement the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. The Prohibited Products and Services Policy controls its specific commerce-category classifications, and mandatory law controls where it cannot be varied by agreement.
25.5 Contact. Questions about these Rules or reports of suspected violations may be submitted to Textority through the contact information below.
